I have a 3 1/2 girl, genuinely nice husband, demanding job. Divorced parents, was adopted but did not learn of it until I was 30, difficult relationship with mom, decent to good relationship with everyone else. Good counseling experience in early 30's, nothing recently (I'm 41)

I’m With You
I am 43 and now the anxiety hit..along with the weight gain, mood swings hot flashes and crying over nothing!!Just letting ya know u r not alone..it helps me to know I 's not the only woman going through this BS!!Take care..

I know how you feel, my parents are the same way! Its their way or the highway. They dont care who they hurt as long as they get what they want! Id love to hear back from you. I'll be gone over the weekend, so dont worry, I havent forgotten about you.

Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- had a very good counselor some years ago and made initial breakthrough in understanding there was a serious problem to address and making first steps.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- venting to friends is helpful and they provide an objective view of my problem but their advice is often to take a very aggressive approach and one that is hard to take.
