.......I hope it's muscle gain Mood

my weight has been so random this week.... normally it either stays the same or goes down by .1 or .2 pounds every day.  This week i've either stayed or gone up.  I'm pretty sure it's due to a plateau, but I knew I'd be getting into that at the beginning of the week, so i've busted my butt on workouts everyday.  And still nothing, or some gain.... hopefully it is a plateau and muscle gain or something... just waiting til my weigh in on saturday to see if I lost inches or something.  :S

    Keep plugging. i know its hard when you don't see results but eventually it will pick up again! :>)

    I would say that a weight change at only .1 or .2 difference is no big deal. I see a weight change some day as much as 1+ pounds. The change can be from what you eat the day before and you are retainign water or not. You should not put so much focus on watching your scale that close.
    My advice is relax and keep doing what you have been doing - the weight will go.

    this is the pot calling the kettle black but this is true you should not pay so much attention to the scale just keep doing what your doing results will follow i weigh everyday but it puts so much stress on you although i want to keep up the habit because when i reach my goal i want to be in the habit of weighing so if i gain a pound or two i get right on losing them. It was seven days of no weight loss for me their was mornings i would be up a pound then back down the next day it ran me crazy but this week i have had steady progress and believe i will make my goal of three pounds, so just hang in there. peace and hugs and we can still do this

    there was an article today on sparkpeople.com. they emphasized the necessity of being patient with the big results that can occur from small changes over time. They blamed today's instant gratification society for peoples impatience. So don't drive yourself nuts over this. and maybe not weigh yourself so often. Small amounts of water retention can be the cause of those fluctuations. I wish Hope, Love and Faith for you in your future.

    Your weight can fluctuated four POUNDS in a day and a few pounds from day to day. I strongly advise you to pick ONE day to weigh in each week and stick with it. Because if you see one day you are down a pound and the next day you are up 3, it is going to screw with your brain and you are going to feel discouraged. I definitely don't want you putting added stress on yourself about this. ONCE A WEEK. :)
