Okay, Maybe you should tell your family if you're depressed but I just told my (what family I do have) about the rape and they threw a huge fit and some simply act like they hate me now. Like I'm "ruined". Okay, what is that all about?? I'm kust going to say from personal experience that I wouldn't say anything to anyone you know or even don't know unless you are prepared to talk about and be told your useless now if you have a pretty screwed up family. But if you have an understanding and caring family that will try to help you then I don't see why you wouldn't. But it's always up to you. If your not comfortable with it then maybe talking to a therapist or a help group is all you should do for now - unless you have a pretty good family then...well that changes things.

FAMILY CAN BE THE BACKBONE OR THE BACK BREAKER. A LOVING SUPPORTIVE FAMILY CAN BRING YOU THROUGH DARK TIMES. I DON'T KNOW THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND DON'T NEED TO. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE RAPED. YOUR FAMILY NEEDS TO RALLY AROUND YOU. IF THEY CAN'T BE THERE FOR YOU THEN YOU NEED TO GO TO CHURCH AND LET THE WOMEN IN THE CHURCH BE SUPPORT. THERE ARE ALOT OF AVENUES AVAILABLE TO GET HELP IN THAT SITUATION BUT FAMILY SHOULD BE THERE FIRST.
