  Thank you so much for your hug! I sure appreciated it. OMG - the books...it's like an obsession - I keep buying because I'm afraid I'm not going to have anything to read! I guess it could be worse, lol!

  Just sending a hug your way - I read your post about your kids and ex. It certainly is tough being a parent - My kids and I have basically come to an agreement - we basically don't talk about their Dad, his GF. I am not sure if my ex ever says anything to them about me - my kids don't say. I can see how hard it is for them, and just continue to give them what I have always given them.
  I heard something on a Breakfast show this morning, it was a girl being interviewed about a book on Divorce she had written - the thing that hit me about it was what she said and it was "Love your children more than you hate your ex spouse" I think that is so true. Just continue to take the high ground with your kids and be the best mom you can be to them - big hugs

  I know how you feel, I like to go to DS because people relate and you can read their journal and know exactly what they are going through. It is good because people can help you because they understand and you can help them. Hang in there girl. Hugs

  Once in awhile I think about leaving DS or taking a long break, but then I realize that my "call" has not yet been fulfilled. So I'll be sticking around for awhile yet. There are just so many people out there who need this and I am lucky to have the time and energy to help wherever I can. YOu take care and have a good weekend my friend!

  Thanks Tayloring. Never been a strong woman always hid behind him. Didn't start thinking about myself until the last couple of years of our marriage. This is when I hit 40 and I wanted to start enjoying life. Now I do feel like I'm becoming a strong woman and I am handling business and getting things done. Doing better then I was when I was married and I can also see that I was contributing far more to the marriage then I gave myself credit for. I held this home together when we were married. He made the money during the last few years but everything else had to be taken care of by me. He doesn't like having to make decisions or look things up. He lets you handle that so if he's doing that in his new relationship he is going to be in for some trouble. I didn't try to squander the money. He could trust me. Been told she use to be a "bar girl" at the clubs doing what she needed to do for the military servicemen to make money so I'm sure she is slick with the money. And he deserves every bit of it. Take care friend and stay strong.
