About Me
My name is Danielle and I have 2 children. I had my daughter, Bethani when I was 16. My boyfriend of 3 1/2 years and I recently became pregnant with our first child together in April of this year. On June 16th '09 discovered that our baby had stopped growing 3 weeks prior. I realized then that nothing in my life had ever hurt so badly. My boyfriend and I are literally crushed and I keep wondering why? After being able to conceive and carry my daughter at the age of 16...why shouldn't I be able to carry my second child to full term, now that I'm more mature, financially stable and ready to take on parenting without hesitation?

I am so sorry you're going thourgh this, there is really no getting over this, it's just going through it. It's been over six months for me and to this day I still think about him. Some days are easier then other. Hang in there and being on DS really helped me.

Close Miscarriage
I had a miscarriage about 6 weeks ago but didn't find out until 2 weeks ago. I had a d&c on June 18th after heartbeat was not detected. I feel sad and lonely.
Treatments
- D&C Working / Worked
- Extremely difficult to handle that my child was in my body one minute and then the next it was gone. Still can't seem to understand it.
Close Anxiety
Anxiety brought on by having my miscarriage a few weeks ago. I feel like I can't relax around my family and friends. I'm always afraid someone's going to talk about it or feel sorry for me.
Open Parenting Big Kids (5-8)
I have an 8 year old daughter. It's a struggle sometimes to be a mother to an almost tween, but mostly it's just amazing.

- She's such an amazing student and yearns to learn whatever she can.

- We always keep the lines of communication open. That way they'll most likey be more comfortable talking to you when they're teens, which are known as the "trouble years".

- I have to admit that I lose my cool sometimes, but I just remember that she's a child and not an adult.

I got pregnant by my very first partner at the young age of 15. I had my daughter Bethani when I was barely 16. Being a young mother is extremely challenging and I understand what teens today are going through. You feel alone and isolated from the real world. When I got pregnant I was kicked out of my high school and sent to a school for young mothers. It was difficult being rejected that way, especially because I was scared and confused. I got through it with the love and support of my family.
