About Me
I am a LPC residing in the great state of NC with my amazing wife and beautiful daughter. I was diagnosed with Cyclothymia at a young age but as a mental health professional believe that it has progressed more into BPII. Some days are better than others but I have learned through the years that perspective is everything.

Close Bipolar Disorder
Struggles with Bipolar II leading to inconsistent balance in my life that negatively affects those around me.
Treatments
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- I have been on Lamictal for about 10 years and found much success with it. I have lately been having more manic episodes that could be caused by the meds or simply life transitions. The jury's still out.
- Lithium Somewhat Helpful
- Somewhat helpful with moods but I gained A LOT of weight that my body frame could not support. I discontinued the use about 10 years ago.
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- The first med I was prescribed while in a psych hospital. It helped with depression but caused increased mania and did little for my mood disorder.
