I was dianosed with fibro only after having flu & my left foot swelled with flood on it which still remains today (undianosed on reason why). Fibro systems had been there for years but had never heard of it before that.

Treatments

Aqua Therapy Not Working

aqua PT... helped some with the fibro but walking killed my lower back

Cyclobenzaprine Not Working

couldn't tell it helped at all

Cymbalta Working / Worked

working the best so far compared to other antidepressants

Effexor Not Working

Couldn't tell it helped with the depression or the fibro at all.

Elavil Working / Worked

have taken it since the beginning. They increased the dosage. Helps with the jerking. I jerk from head to toe even when awake without it. Memory loss.

Guaifenesin Working / Worked

only when I'm sick with a bad cold or congestion

Heat Somewhat Helpful

only moist heat

Morphine Somewhat Helpful

I took myself off of it due to the side effects.

Neurontin Not Working

I can't tell it's doing any good at all but due to neck surgery, the doc has cut me down to a low dose once at night to help me rest. Side effect: memory loss

TENS Working / Worked

Helps to break up the muscle knots.

Ultram Not Working

Didn't seem to help at all

Vitamin B12 Working / Worked

Mine was extremely low until I got the B12 shots. This was because of nerves not healing due to neck surgery & not to fibro.
