About Me
I'm 46, and had a radidal left nephrectomy in feb '09. Lots of pain, discomfort, and initial lack of apetite, but feeling good right now. First CTscan/Xray check (end of june)looked good. I'm almost back to norml strength. I never had any kidney related health concerns, and half a year ago I thought and felt very healthy. Still there was a big tumor growing inside me. Feeling good and healthy apparently doesn't mean you are. I'm greatful for every new day, and hope to stay healthy for a really long time.

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
Looking to meet other people that have/had the disease as I was treated for. I had a nephrectomy in Feb. '09, and my first CT-scana nd X-ray check looked normal, but I don't feel like I'm done with cancer.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Working / Worked
- Treatment and recovery was painful, but so far it seems effective.
