Dx almost 5 yrs ago at age 33 at stage 2b,,,since then have been on continuious chemo for 4 yrs,,,over 150 chemo treatments and over 120 radiation treatments. Many mets. I have 3 babies that are my passion, ages 10, 9, and 7. I Have a wonderful husband and we have a southern gospel singing group. That is our passion. Very faith based family.

welcome to DS, I also am goin thru chemo, I have invasive ductal carcinoma-Stage III, had right masectomy. Please pray for me, and I will be prayin for you too! May God bless you and your family, and keep you in HIS care today and always! Please pray that GOD heals us completely of this cancer real soon! Sendin ya lots of GA hugs to help ease your pain! Stage: IV (M1)Stage 2b at dx, with 4 pos nodes, adeno carcinoma in right breast, er/pr pos and her2+++. 2 seperate masectomies, ovaries removed. Mets now to both legs, all over spine (completely covered) between lungs,,,other places suspicious but not comfirmed.IVE HAD OVER 150 CHEMO TREATMENTS AND OVER 120 RADIATION.
Treatments
- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- worst one for me, in hospital with last 2 treatments for 10 days a piece. Almost killed me with white count 0.3, hem-glo 4 and platlets were 40
- Taxotere Not Working
- not bad but didnt work
- Herceptin Not Working
- not bad but didnt work
- Navelbine Not Working
- a little rougher with the nerve pain, but didnt work
- Taxol Not Working
- tolerable
- Arimidex Not Working
- bone pain was horrible
- Gemcitabine Too Soon to Tell
- keep fingers crossed
