i don't want to do anything and i keep fighting back tears. maybe i should call doc to get anti depressants. i hate those pills! i'm just miserable. i need to lift my spirits.

Do what u need to do. It u need the anti d's, then u do. What's your dr say? Are you still having your pd? Or u past all that? I was trying to decide to do tx in Nove..and then decided to NOT think about hepc until after New YEars...so I took off a few months. Can you do something like that?

If you think you sound depressed, people around you would probably concur. See what your dr suggests. Why not get help if its available?

I just noticed your comments rbm & ptriss. Still learning how this site works. umm I'm okay today. In fact I'm just fine. I hope I don't need any anti d's ever. Just need to get over the shock of the cirrhosis. What is pd?

it's no wonder you're in shock after info like that from the doc!
they do suggest that people go on anti'd's before and during tx., it's pretty powerful stuff, and it can definitely mess with your emotions. think about it and talk it over with your doctor, it wouldn't have to be forever, just temporary....
