Close Back Pain

I have had back pain since a slip and fall in 1989. Since then I've been in two wrecks and have had 28 major surgeries. Back pain is constant. I've stopped taking pain medicine, because I couldn't tell whether I was coming or going. I now only take Tylenol. I can now tell if I'm coming or going, but the back pain is constant. I'm on disability and I'm only 49. I hate that.

Bedrest works sometimes. Sometimes not.

Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked

worked until it sent me to the floor then I couldn't get up then I stopped going.l

Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked

Then heard it was bad so I stopped taking it.

Flexeril Working / Worked

It put me to sleep so I only take it when I can't stand the pain any more.

Hydrocodone Working / Worked

I developed an allergic reaction to it.

Ibuprofen Working / Worked

I developed an allergic reaction to it.

Morphine Working / Worked

I had an allergic reaction to it.

Physical Therapy Working / Worked

The pain was so intense the physical therapist suggested we stop the physical therapy.

TENS Working / Worked

I used a tens unit for years then the physical therapist said to stop using it because it wasn't helping any more.
