Married to my teenage sweetheart. Have raised our kids just about as far as we can and now raising a grandchild who is our little princess with an old heart already. God is my strength. Everybody has struggles but we all need someone to understand. That's why I came to this support group. God blessed me with a man who loves me and tries to fix everything. He is learning he can't. It's an ongoing journey. I am learning God is in the midst of everything and is all knowing, but loves us and our children and grandchildren even more than we do. He keeps hope alive. He's got our back.

I just have very different views on certain things when it comes to helping our children. Sometimes it seems to me as though everyone here hates their kids and have given up. and trust me I have been to hell and back again with mine. but they are still my kids and I will do for them what and when i can.

Close Grandparents Raising Children
My husband and I are raising our 8 year old granddaughter. This has always been her home. The birthparents come and go but we, like the rest of you, try to pick up the pieces. God is our strength.
Close Separation Anxiety
