I WAS BORN WITH SPASTIC CP AND USE A CHAIR. I AM NOW LOSING MY SIGHT AND THE DOCS DON'T KNOW Y BUT THINK IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY CP.

- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- I might be worse if I never did PT but Im not sure

They say my cerebral palsy came from a brain injury I suffered at or prior to birth.
Open Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Low VisionMY VISION IS ALWAYS LOW BUT IT ALSO FADES IN AND OUT. THE DOCS SAY I'LL SOON BE TOTALLY BLIND. THAT SCARES ME MORE THAN ANYTHING I HAVE HAD 2 FACE IN MY LIFE.

Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
My parents were in denial about my having cerebral palsy and both neglected and abused me. I lived on the floor as they only got me a w/chair when I was 8 and it was clear that braces and crutches did not let me walk. Soon after that I was taken from their home by the Child Protection ppl.

I have severe cerebral palsy but they say I am also mildly retarded as my IQ is low. I feel that my intelligence is normal.
