Got trained and completed first injection today, on left arm. It hurt like a wasp sting or somethng, and there was swelling for a while …

Hang in there Poet!! Wrapping your head around the Dx is tough and takes time. Be kind to yourself and move around as much as possible. It will help not only weight issues but depression too.
