Hi hon. Sorry you are having a hard time with your FM. I have been married to my best friend for 30 years(in December)and he is alot like how your boyfriend sounds...very loving and supportive. When I first was dxed with FM, we had a very long, sincere discussion on what our life might be like together with FM. I told him right off, after I explained the best I could what FM does to our lives, that if he felt he wasn't up to the task of living his life with me, that he could leave and I would understand. He said he had no intentions of leaving me and that our wedding vows said in sickness and in health. Not only in the good times. He has really been great, but it has been a struggle for him. I believe that as long as we try very hard to control our tempers and not take our pain out on those we love, we can all make it thru our lives with the men who we love and love us. Just try to be there for him and understand that it is hard on them too. On good days, do something nice for him. Maybe make a nice dinner, rent a movie, or maybe go out for a while. Always remember to tell him how very much you appreciate and love him. I tell my hubby every morning before he goes to work that I love him. On a regular basis, i tell him what a great hubby and father he has been to me and the kids. Don't let this darn illness take away your ability to love,be loved, and let others know how much they are appreciated. It really does help them to be able to feel like they are loved and needed. Good luck, and don't let this stuff rule your life! Hugs to you! Oh, BTW- would you like to be my friend? We can always use more of those, too! Lol! Cheryl

Moment of Peace
BasketMoon (07/18/09)
Always happy to answer questions. The tattoo came from a dream I had one night. This butterfly kept trying to fight its way out of this fog. I called my son and asked him to design a tattoo from the dream. He was surprised because I never have had any desire for a tattoo until now. I got it about a year ago and I love it. Like I said, I get a lot of questions about it. I explain that the butterfly is the physical me while the moon represents my spiritual self. The 2 stars represent my son and my hubby who are always there for me.

High Five
Saria65 (07/08/09)
Thanks, Galiger. I find that I go through bad weeks, and okay weeks. It's been rough coming to terms with my diagnosis, since I was also diagnosed December 08. Not too long ago for us. I find that I just have to keep pushing through, I am going to try some new things, I have accupuncture and homeopathy planned, hoping that works. Good luck with work, I know how hard it can be getting up and going, and then actually performing well. We'll jsut have to keep each other posted on things that work!
