Close Pulmonary Embolism

I had both hips replaced about 4 years ago. In April 2009 my right hip dislocated twice and I had to have revision surgery. Took Lovenox for 10 after surgery to avoid clots. 5 days after finishing Lovenox have PE and DVT with many clots. Right side of heart was also affected due to lack of blood flow. I spent 5 days in hospital and have been home for 1 week. I am still sob and extremely fatigued. Don't really understand the recovery time and am feeling a bit discouraged.

Treatments

Heparin Working / Worked

Was given in hospital. No side effects

Lovenox Working / Worked

I get large welts with terrible itching at the injection sites but still had to use until coumadin levels were theraputic.

Close Adoption

I have been an adoptive mother for 21 years. I would love to offer support and information if possible.
