Rain, I am so happy and so is my garden...I have oranges and lemons and limes Oh! My! they all need rain...the trees are still small, but I have fruit and to me that is so great!
Russ is off to the V.A. for his work up for his surgery. Then He plans to fix his Mom's Bathroom. Her tile needs to be grouted and the tub caulked and the floor tiles re-laid they came up; He has all his tools and well, He has gone non stop with our home as he invited EVERYONE here for Thanksgiving...Yep, He has this 'John Boy' image of the 'family' and wants to have them all together under HIS (which is mine too) roof. So we shall see. We will see who visits me in the Hospital after it all?
Kazimilch got me to go to Triond.com to write my stories and poems...Pleas go there I am jangy...I get a penny for everytime anyone reads anything. Don't worry if it is new or good I will copy and paste here...I have included more pictures there with the stories...It is a fun distraction. Her's is under Kim Buck and she has more up so far than me...lol but, we shall see who will write the most....hehehhe
Well, I hope Heather 1 had a great time lolling around in a fancy hotel this weekend and got some crafts done...I did 2 new bracelets and a pare of earings...running out of supplies. I all these gifts made and haven't mailed one...I hope to get some out after Wednesdays payday.
Russ got the money for his 2 frames...so that paid for the flooring we got at a discount store...It is pretty, but some of the boxes were damaged so he has to work around those planks and boy, he really grumped about that...
He was so tired and sore yesterday we fussed at each other. That makes about 6 times in 30 years...I am older now and much wiser and blew it off to his level of self emposed exhaustion. He wants to finish EVERYTHING, before the surgery...I truely understand, but I also have been at this chronic illness thing longer than him and I know how to wreck an immune system that he will need to heal from his surgery...
What do I know??? I am just the wife.
I think this 2 days apart will help, but he will be working just as hard if not harder at his Mom's Whats a girl to do?

Oh, I can see all to well were Russ is coming from. I tend to do this terribly when something is about to occur and I know that I will be down for awhile. Hubby feels like you do I am sure of that one! He gives me crap...but think he also chooses the battles...grin! The time apart will be good...but no doubt he will be tuckered out!

Funny how that many years just makes one sigh and roll their eyes and wait for the mood to change. Glad you see it for what it is. I call us "the Bickersons" because we tend to bicker so much. We even bickered about whether it was arguing or bickering that we do. Stalemate on that one! Hope Russ doesn't overdo and Thanksgiving is an awful lot of work, are you sure you want to do that? Won't he feel better & STRONGER AFTER the surgery. You do know that a lot of places cook all the food & all you have to do is plate it up & serve it. That way - no hospital trips.

Angy, I have given up long ago to tell my man anything about what he's doing, should or shouldn't do, etc... It's just easier that way and I'm all about keeping the peace... We womyn worry too much anyway because, of course, we know better...
That said, I'm still nursing a sore arm, and today, I decided to dump all my flower pots, put those away, chase after escapee chickies, collect 14 eggs, rake piles of leaves to give the chickies... All that before noon... Subsequently, I'm dead on my feet and it's nobody's fault but my own... I do this all the time because I have to get stuff done, like it or lump it (of course, as I was dumping my first pot, someone saw me struggling and helped with most of them... LOL).
I'm will Kelly, my local grocery makes an entire feast, and all you have to do is serve. If I didn't love cooking so much, I'd consider it except it is far less expensive to cook it all myself...
