Good Morning Everyone!
Yes I say to myself it is going to be a good day.
I do this every morning.
If I don"t I can lay here in bed all the time with
pain. Yes I have pain all the time and about
1pm coming around I start going down. I have to
take a nap. But it is ok. Life is good, GOD
is with me all the time.
So I just want to say
GET UP!
You have one life
if you have a half of a day
GET UP!
Enjoy It.
Life is good.
I feel ok and then at 2:30pm I want a nap. My toe's is cool as ice. My back hurts !!!
And I say Thank you god I am alive.
Than I need to cook my son dinner. after I going in the pool and sit. the pool feels
like a hot tub.
I love sitting in it. and now I found you guys. ty.

I am glad you have found us. This site has been great for me. I have also discovered FaceBook and there is a group there and a new site forming based on that one, but this one is the one that has been soooooo valuable to me. I discovered it when I was diagnosed in May 2008 and I here I have found people who understand what it is to face this disease like no one else can who does not deal with the things we face. You are very courageous and I admire you for posting all those photos and sharing your story with us. We are lucky when we have children to give us a reason for being, for living, a motivation for fighting this AcroMonster. I can tell you are a strong and beautiful woman. Welcome and thank you. Rose

Sorry to hear about your kidneys..But don't take it so hard..My dad was told the same thing a few years ago and he was suppose to go on dyalisis if it got any worst..He was then operated for an anurism, and we were sure that was it for his kidneys then.. Well guess what, after over two years, my dad's kidneys are still functionning..think they are down to 50%..But having only 50% of your kidney's fontion is like living with only one kidney.. And it's ok to live like that.. With our acromegaly, many things clunks out in our body, but we have to live with it and i just look at people who are much worst than me and i gets my moral up and going..Hope it helps ya
