  So sorry that you're having a bad day. Please be strong & fight this disease. I hope you are close with your doctors & seeking constant help from them & are keeping them informed of these bad times. Does your doctor think the kidney problem is the disease or maybe the side effects of medications???? I just wish for you better days. Hang in there. I'm concerned for you. Janey

  "acromegaly" 116.9 new cases per million per year.
  Lady, I did a little research on this disease. I didn't even know it existed. Like ALS a RARE Disease. Please message me and give me more information. And what symptoms you have to endure. My heart and Prayers go out to you. Today I learned something new. What a World this is! Never Give Up!!!!!!!

  Hi Lady B....welcome to our group. I am so sorry that you are in such pain and that you're having to deal with this terrible disease. I too have acromegaly and wish I looked like I did before. Check out my story and sorry, I don't have any pictures on there yet, I tried but the file must have been too big...it wouldn't take them I'll try again. You will learn lots from those in this group. Keep your head up and don't let the acromonstor (that's what many of us call it) get to you. Don't hesitate to ask questions of us because there's probably someone here that has gone through the same or similar situation. I enjoyed your pictures. You're a lovely person. Janey
