You came into my life so sweetly baby.

But I was barely grown, oh how would I have known,

That you would be gone again so swiftly, baby.

I didn't realize, I'd see it in your eyes.

I only had a moment just to hold you near me.

But, heaven holds you now, my angel child above.

And in my heart I need you so, I want you back somehow.

You tiny hands and feet, your sweetness when you sleep.
