You said I'd know what it is my heart wants to tell me.

I don't feel it.

Years ago you took my heart and never gave it back again,

Now I can't listen.  Listen to a heart that isn't there.

I'm searching inside my soul,

Laughing, crying, trying to remember I still exist.

Living, dying, deep inside I know that's not all there is.
