Treatments
- Gleevec Working / Worked
- Was on it from Jan 2002- Jan 2007 Was very effective the years i took it.had a 5 log reduction for a few months in 2002 and mostly had a 3 log reduction Side Effects: Nausea, leg cramps, puffiness, depigmentation.
- Hydroxurea Working / Worked
- Was on it from April 2000 - Jan 2002.. I was diagosed when i was 12 in India and was put on Hydroxurea as a palliative measure as the other treatments were not affordable then..... I did not have many side effects with hydroxurea just some hyperpigmentation....
- Sprycel Working / Worked
- Jan 2007- present and hopefully many more years to come... I have had a 3 log reduction since starting sprycel... The leg cramps have gone completely... But it makes my face feel bloated ...Have some sharp pains in my limbs at times but they last for a few seconds...And have nausea too
