Close Anxiety Disorders in Children
My 6 year old has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and possible ADHD. Looking for others going through the same and trying to find support.
Treatments
- Play Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Have seen some improvements during school, but total regression since school ended.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- Immediate changes but now has stalemated and regression has started. No side effects noted. Taking 25mg.
Close Depression
Type: Seasonal Affective DisorderI have been battling depression most of my life. I see how it effects me and my family and am looking for others who understand the daily struggles.
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- Did not work, had many side effects.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Loved this and it worked well since I have anxiety as well, but had to stop using due to repeated intestinal bleeding.
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- I just can't always get myself to do it.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Very helpful and would like to go back but can't due to finances and lack of resources in the area.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Used for sleep it worked.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- Husband somewhat helpful, but he doesn't really understand. Other family not helpful at all, they ignore it.
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- Currently taking and working somewhat, but I still have symptoms of depression.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Always helpful in figuring out what is really going on inside.
- Zoloft Not Working
- Did not work. It increased my suicidal thinking.
