Camping. Canoeing. Dancing. Lots of stuff I can't do right now! Love to read, listen to CBC, watch movies and am currently becoming a fan of TrueBlood. I love my Dog Elvis above all else, he makes every day better just by being there. I'm lucky to live in the same town as my brother and Mum and best friend, all of whom are supportive if somewhat clueless...

Close Endometriosis
Third generation in my family to have Endo, it is severe enough now that I am off work. Basically I need to either have a kid this year through IVF or give up on that and look at adoption later. I'll most likely end up having big surgery if this last round of Lupron doesn't work. If it wasn't for the support of my friends and family and the fact that I HAVE to walk the dogs, I think I'd be going nuts right now.
Treatments
- Laser Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Done it twice, both times it worked for two years before symptoms came back. Next surgery will be more serious.
- Lupron Too Soon to Tell
- So far it sucks, but the doc gave me some estrogen to deal with my extreme night sweats and mood swings. I feel sorry for my roommate! Extreme anger, weepy, emotional lability.
