Well I go to the doctor and take all my CDs with me of my MRIs I have one on my Brain , cervical spine and lumbar not sure why nothing was done on the thoracic part of my spine I will have to ask. I will also find out about some blood work that was done. I have a feeling it will be more of the same but dammit I am tired of this crap just want relief. I am 52 and need a break. Well I may have to go as far as Cleveland Clinic here in Ohio because of my insurance for a surgeon. I sure hope there are some there that are experienced with ACM

I hope your appt goes well you and get some answers. I went for my 8 week post up check up this week, the Dr. only spent a few minutes with me but said I can go back to doing whatever I feel up to no restrictions. FYI He says the operation is a permanent fix and there isn't anything I can do that will mess it up . Even if something hurts to do he says it isn't dangerous it's just because of the neck muscles still being sore and needing to be strengthened. I hope this gives you hope about be able to keep doing firefighting.
I will need to get another MRI in Oct. to see if the syrinx is going away.

Had my appointment. She is looking for a NS at the university hospital in cincinnati that has experince with ACM. I told her if they don't i don't want to waste my time nor money. My insurance is causeing some problems with who I can see she had one lined up for at the Mayfield Clinic but it was a no go because of my insurance.
