All my life I've been overweight. When I was five years old, I began gaining weight very rapidly, and growing at an extreme rate. I was diagnosed that year with a pituitary adenoma, a small benign tumor on my pituitary gland that caused me to grow at an extraordinary rate. Now that I'm older, the tumors almost gone, but I'm still overweight. My mother and I joined Curves a month ago, and so far, I've only lost a pound, but I've lost a total of 12 1/2 inches so far.
