My father was always abusive, physically to both me and my sister but emotionally mainly to me and my mother. I was always aware that my ability to interact socially was very damaged, but I've come to realize that the relationships I HAVE built all involve me mediating, compromising and making myself a victim. I have to break this cycle somehow.
