Close Self-Injury
I started self injuring when I was 13. I've been hospitalized many times. I went to S.A.F.E. about a year and a half ago, but that didn't really help. I haven't self injured since April, though.
Treatments
- Group Therapy Not Working
- I did group therapy while I was inpatient and during an IOP. I couldn't relate really to the other people.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Not Working
- I was with adults, but only 18. It was hard to relate.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I love my psychologist! He is amazing! I have been seeing him for almost four years.
- Rubber Bands Not Working
- I just got a lot of rubber band marks.
- S.A.F.E. (Self-Abuse Finally Ends) Not Working
- I hated S.A.F.E. I went to the intensive program in Texas. Terrible.
- Talking Working / Worked
- It helps me to be around other people.
- Tattoos Not Working
- It didn't even hurt.
- Clozaril Working / Worked
- I love Clozapine. It has saved my life.
- Concerta Working / Worked
- I can read books again! I can focus.
