I have read Lovewin's entry. I thought of our family situation. Then I ask myself, really?
The sick want to give up. The 'healty' want to give up. What about the dead? Who will speak for them? If u are sick, it does not mean that u are unable. If u are healthy it does not mean u are able.
Most crimes against humanity are committed by the 'healthy'. This is because the inner-self does not advertise its standing. We, as a people, are much concerned about the outer self. That is why we are easily duped and fleeced of the little possessions and dignity.
Our outer self is not a reflection of our inner self. Let the inner self be our guide, let it over-rule the outer self. Sickness can destroy the flesh, yes. It can cause pain, yes. It can even cause death, yes! But, as someone put it, "the good that man do lives after them".
That, my dear brothers and sisters, is the essence of life. Live in such a way that all those left behind will have fond memories of you . . .
. . . He was sick, but he was such a comfort, i will miss his ideas, he made me laugh so much that I would forget the troubles, you couldn't say he was sick . . . I don't know how he managed it! etc, etc, etc.
That, my dears, is you after departing to the other world.
