  Just noticed your status and I wanted to come by and say hi.. I haven't been around much at all this entire summer - the months of no school keep us happily out of the house and far away from my computer.. but fall and winter I tend to be here much more often. I usually try and make the best effort I can to read my friends' journals, but I haven't been lately because I just haven't been around. Please continue to write them though.. I still like to do it once in awhile even if I know everyone is busy and can't read them, because it's very therapeutic and it often helps to just get it off your chest. I hope this finds you well, and I hope to catch up with everyone here soon (((HUGS)))

  Being a mum is the toughest job ever and I go by the quote " if you are not ready to feel true heartache , you are not ready to be a parent".
  Who knew when you became a mum of the most precious miracle you could ever experience it would carry with it soooo much involved it can honestly blow your mind and you feel so useless at times.
  You can do this, you are strong, you are your childs rock, your mum!
  You may not always have the anwers, we all never have all the answers, we wish we did.
  Do you have set rules and discipline for her bad behaviour that aren't broken, she knows she can't do things and just get away with it?
  I know with my son he will try to push the boundries , and with him structure and rules and punishment that will stick (no backing down) is a huge thing he thrives in knowing this and thinks before he acts alot more now.
  Well I thought I would just say this and hope it helps in some way, I hope you are well and take care

  I know how you feel. My son is Autistic with adhd, and the tantrums are hard. My hubby yells too. I work so hard to keep the peace, and he spoils it. I cut out dairy and it has improved his behaviour. Have you tried cutting out any foods??

  Hang in there. Yesterday my son put his fist through a glass door because I wouldn't let him play outside. He is only 9. We are working with a therapists who thinks there are other issues then adhd. Take a deep breath and try to get some "me" time.
