Zapped for Energy Mood
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 | A Frustrating story
Ok this is the 3rd. day after the 3rd. shot and my energy is zapped. Just walking out to the front yard to change the water position on the grass is exausting. I'm getting a little light headed while I'm out side and its only for a couple of minutes. Nothing sounds good to eat or when it does by the time I'm finished making it, I'm not hungry anymore. Shakey sweatty and just feeling kind of punk. I sure hope some energy comes my way soon. I hate not being able to do anything. I've lost 12 lbs. and that part I'm not worried about I still have some extra to loose but I just want to be able to water my flowers and feel good while doing it. If I were the type to cry I probably would but I'm not so I won't. Sounds like I'm having my own pity party here today. So I guess I'll shut up and have a jug of water.

Hello sweetheart, first I would like to tell you that, if you need to go outside, then dress for it.
If it is hot and sunny, you will need to put on a hat, and long sleeve cotton shirt, and pants, you wouldn't want to get a sun stroke, and ribavirin rash.
The rash is activated by the sweating, and being hot and humid.
So you are going to realise that soon, going outside won't be a good idea, unless it's cooler, and you dress for it.
As for the extreme fatigue, unfortunately that is a side that will stay with you, no matter waht, during your journey.
But listen to your body, and nap when needed, this way you will find yourself recharging for another bit of doing things in the home.
The days that the food is the last thing on your mind, get some healthy shakes like boost, or ensure, at least you will get all the vitamins, needed for your day.
This is the one time that you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want it, so ice cream is the #1 craving on tx, so go ahead and get some ice cream for breakfast if you want, you can on tx, since you won't always feel like eating, and everyone loves ice cream right? lol.
Yes, you need to keep your water intake to the most.
Also it's ok to vent away, I am here for you, if you want to talk, cry, vent away, I am just a message away.
I was genotype 1a, and I know how long 48 weeks can be on these meds so please feel free to write m e a message, when you are up or down.
    Love & Respect, Mckenzie

This is a Survival guide for the different side effects you may or my not experience during tx. Good luck on your journey to kill the dragon.

I have to wear my new hat outside....and sunglasses. Just take a chair with you outside, so you can sit in the shade when you need to to.
I live on cereal, icecream, pre cut fruit, toast, and whatever hubby makes me for dinner.
This tx is tough on us....after all, we are on heavy duty drug therapy. Just do what you can....little by little. My beautiful roses have not been sprayed once, and I think I'll be losing them all....and at this time, I don't even care...lol...I've lost half my houseplants....I tell my mom, this tx has turned my green thumb BROWN....lol
Don't feel bad if u sleep a lot.....at first I felt so lazy, but it's the drugs. Good luck, and hang on!
