Close Gastric Cancer

I've been diagnosed with gastric cancer 5 years ago. At first I didn't understand why I couldn't eat anymore like I did before. Food seemed to get a stop into my stomach and I ended up eating only one time per day and vomiting very often. After a long lasting gastroscopy (about 50 miunutes!!) the doctor told me there was something inside my stomach. I entered the hospital the next day and went out after a month, after a total gastrectomy and a diagnosis of cancer.

Treatments

Chemotherapy Working / Worked

I did a six months chemo with fluorouracile, epirubicina and cisplatino. I felt very bad at the time, but now I think it worked.

Surgery Working / Worked

The first times were very hard, after eating only a handful of rice I felt pain in the abdomen. But little by little it went better, now I eat almost everything except milk. Sometimes I get low on sugar but I eat quickly some cookie or something like that

5-FU Working / Worked

I had this bottle with the needle inserted into my port-a-cath 24hours a day. Sometimes it got me to have pain into my bowels, but in the end I endured it well
