Close Pancreatitis
I have been ill for about 18 months and have been diagnosed with SOD, severe gastroparesis and have a gastric pacemaker and recently have been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. I continue to have chronic pain, somedays worse than others, especially after eating or drinking anythng. I have tried all different types of treatments, including a celiac block, different medicine treatments and now will be starting sandostatin injections soon to shut down my pancreas.
Treatments
- Levsin Not Working
- Pancrelipase Working / Worked
- Am currently on Viokase...which helps a little bit, but not a lot, am better than a year ago.
- Desipramine Working / Worked
- continue to take have been on for about a year. Would have to say I am better than a year ago but a lot has happened in that year.
- Aciphex Working / Worked
- take twice daily. other medications of this type did not work initially but this one did.
