  Thank you for the hug. I have had no success with the brace. In fact, the doctor only gave me a RH brace (even though I complained about both hands). Anyway, my hand hurt worse after wearing the brace at night. I wake up at least 1 or 2 times in the middle of the night with numb/tinging fingers, but I don't take any pain killers. I'm afraid to start on them, although the pain happens throughout the day too. It's hard to write, to drive, or to even hold my dogs' leash! I think I'm trying to just get used to it and live with it. It seems that surgery isn't successful for most people.
