Its Sunday, Nov.8, 09 I can't believe its almost Thanksgiving, and we all know what that means, Christmas is right around the corner. A couple of weeks ago John and I went to K-Mart and did a huge lay-a-away for the kids. Every year we go through their toys and have them give old ones to Good Will, and the broken toys go back to the north pole for Santa to fix and give out to other kids. We also have the kids pick out a couple of toys for toys for tots. We are by far not rich, but we are not living pay check to pay check either. Our kids want for nothing and I think its important to teach them the act of giving to less fortunate kids than them. This year Alex is really into it and I'm so proud of him. Just makes me think I'm doing something right raising my kids.

So on another note the kids have both been very very sick this weekend. I took them to the doctors on Friday, and Alex has huge blisters in the back of his throat. They tested him for strep, which came back negative, so the doc said that it is also one of the first signs, symptoms, of the swine flu. Yeah great!! So I went out and bought lots of popcicles, and soft foods for them to eat. The doctors told me to be prepared for all of us to get it. So far Syd has been fine, John and I have been fine, but Dakota woke up this morning feeling bad and has blisters in his throat. Guess he's next.

Remember everyone, carry your hand sanitizer with yo at all times, wash your hands regularly, and keep your mouth covered when you cough and sneeze. Take care and I hope none of tou catch this.

Well today was a very good day. I got Alex up for school this morning and he said he actually felt really good. Yea!!! Finally he has had an ear infection and sinus problems for bout 2wks now, so it was really good to see him feeling back to his old happy self. John had a meeting today to talk about productivity and safety. Although Obama would like to close down the mines I think and pray his job will be here for a long time still. ICG is not into mountain top removal at least not in our state so our miners are pretty secure right now. I don't know what we would do if John didn't work in the mines that's all he's ever done. So Syd has dance tomorrow and I need to go get Xrays on my heels for heel spurs. I hope they find something and are able to treat it quickly because me feet kill me constantly. Then on thursday I go back to my gyn doctor to let him know wether or not I'm getting the hysterectomy done. John and I think its time to do it and my Mom has some vacation time coming up so she can come stay with us and help out with the kids. I can plan out some meals and freeze them to make things a little easier. I really can't put it off any longer, and I mean really I'm 37 and Johns 40 so we don't want any more kids. Syd is our baby girl she's 3 and in just a couple of years she'll be in school, which means I'll be able to go to work if I want and John let's me.( He likes me to be here for the kids) and some freedom finally.Don't fet me wrong I live everyday for my kids but wow it would be nice to have some me time. Anyhow that's about all today and I want to watch a bit of family guy before going to bed. Nite to all
