I am a divorced mom of two, who works full time in advertising. My children are currently 6 and 10 years old, and it is my 10 year old son who has hyperactivity disorder and was diagnosed with motor tics approx 4 years ago. We are very involved in school and sports of all kinds. Our dog, Jeter, keeps us busy too!

Close Parents of Children with ADHD
Raising the two kids has been wonderful yet full of its own challenges especially since I work full time. My son's motor tics lay dormant for a while, yet now they are back seemingly worse than in such a long time. I know stress is a large factor and I feel really guilty and to blame for it all and want to be able to help my son more than anything.
Close Parenting 'Tweens (9-12)
I have a 10 year old son. As a single mom of two children, my daughter is 6, I can use a lot of advice and I hope I can help others in the process.

- My son really enjoys school and it is a good place for him.

- It will all depend on the situation to determine what works and what doesn't.
Open Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders
My 10 year old son has had motor tics for about 4 years now, on and off. I can't help but blame myself for all of this and hope to find a better way to deal with this, not only emotionally for him as well as for me, but also to treat the situation!
