About Me
My husband of 42 years has MRCC. His cancer was first discovered in October, 2007. He had a right nephrectomy, and was told he was cancer free. It matastised to his lungs in March, 2009. I am a homemaker, mother, and gradmother of five gorgeous little ones. As a devout Christian, I seek support from others going through this journey.

Hi Inrid, Sorry I haven't written for awhile I just got home from work so I'm sitting for awhile before we take our granddaughter out to dinner for her birthday. She was 10 on the 4th. Things are good here how about you two I hope Ray is still feeling good. Have a good weekend RIta

Thank you SO much for those welcoming and encouraging words! I will definitely look into the epidural too....though, I must confess that the thought of the needle in the back sort or scares me a bit. LOL

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
My husband of 42 years had a right nephrectomy in Oct,'07. Just found out it has returned in both lungs. He is to begin treatment on the 19th; however, we don't know what yet. I'm very frightened and need encouragement. I also want to be a good caretaker...so all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Treatments
- Sutent Not Working
- After only 14 pills of Sutent, my husband almost died from the extreme side effects. Apparently, he got all of the rarest effects.
