I was here almost 2 years ago, I was diagnoised with UC then when I saw GI's I was told there was nothing wrong maybe IBS and sent home. None of the docs I saw wanted to put me on meds despite my being in and out of the hospital. I gave up and thought I was crazy and toughed it out alone. Two weeks ago I was admitted into the ER then had to be transported to a hospital 60 miles away. My Red Blood Count was dropping and CT showed Coilitis was back. FInally have a GI who is putting me on meds!

My GI is going to get me started on this Friday. We are going to do sample packets first since I had a rare allergic reaction to Sulfasalazine. Hope it works if this doesn't she says I will have to go on Humeria or Remicade. Lets just hope pills work.

I hate it always have all who have been on this know that it is a cursed yet blessed medicine.

Positive Thinking Working / Worked

During the time I thought I was crazy I started to speak positively and trained myself to control the pain this way. Though I still live with pain daily being positive has helped me to not allow this to disable my life. I can still get the house cleaned and take care of the kids. I may be ill but I am not strong and if we can only remember our strength then we can find a peace to get us through the day and pain and bathrooms.
