About Me
I am a geriatric social worker. Married to a wonderful man of almost 3 years. I have two dogs who I consider my children. I was diagnosised with Endo when I was 19 and in the last three years I have had 4 surgeries to try to "keep me comfortable." I now go to a doctor in Philadelphia who has started me on Lupron and reports my endo has spread outside into what is called Adromosis. Everyday is a challenge and I never know what I am waking up to with the endo.

I have a non-medical tollarant husband who I found only began to understand endo when he went to the doctor with me. He had gone to my surgeries and all but until he did the day by day with me going to the doctor the meds the shots... did he than begin to understand and even went on his own to research the disease.
Treatments
- Laser Surgery Working / Worked
- I have had 4 in 3 years all of which added to the problem and my doctor was never gave me a full description of what he found. Write down your questions and make sure they are answered before you leave!
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Hmm yeah warn your husband and encourage him to educate himself. Do not tell him but only encourage him that it will alter you and that you will pre-apologize if you hurt him. It is not you intent it is part of the cycle. Also this med is wonderful it has saved me from several hot flashes, check with you family as to how they responded.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Questions Questions Questions, and honesty. If you are nervous tell them. Recovery is nothing compared to the pain you are already having.
