Relapsing remitting MS diagnosis in '07. Need emotional support badly. Have no family and my friends have turned their backs on me. I feel all alone, especially since loosing every cent I ever earned. It's scary without medical insurance and anyone to talk to, but I am a fighter - as the Incredible Molly Brown put it "I ain't down yet!" Anyone in the Tampa Bay area that can be a friend?

Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI have relapsing remitting MS. Need emotional, physical-all kind of support and want to provide that to others going thru what I am.
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- Was terrific when I could afford it!
- Neurontin Not Working
- didn't help with the pain at all
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Was given to me (steroid) after I had the flu or had picked up something els. It got me back on track with my other med's.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionTreatments
- Prozac Not Working
- Took it for years and still did not feel well.
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- Very helpful, but not covered by state medical insurance. I took it at night as it makes you sleepy, but it worked wonders for me!
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Great for mood and migranes. Cannot afford on county insurance dont now what I will do!
- Aricept Working / Worked
- Worked wonders for cognitive thinking I have MS but again not covered on my county medical plan. 5 mg. daily
- Rozerem Working / Worked
- Worked wonders! Not covered on my county medical plan. Dont know how I can get through this! 8 mg. tab daily
- Restoril Working / Worked
- 22.5 mg. nightly...Worked wonders. Not covered on medical plan however.
