I am 30 years old, have been happily married for over 5 years, and have desperately wanted a child for over 3 years. My husband and I have to undergo in vitro to get pregnant. I lost a baby at 6 months last March, had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks in early June and am newly pregnant with our third baby.

I enjoy the outdoors, skiing, hiking, golf, travel, and spending time with my family, especially my precious neice and nephew. I have an identical twin sister who I spend every day with. I know I am so lucky to have her support.

It's one with a display. Find this very useful but they are a little more expensive. I would have liked one that's records but that was even more. Try to get one that is 2mhz apparantly they work better than a 3mhz. Also buy extra gel.
I used mine first time round at 16 weeks as that's when I bought it. I had no trouble finding the heartbeat after that time. But with this pregnancy I tried at 10 weeks and couldn't find it. So I panicked but told myself it was too early. I wanted to wait till I had my 12 week scan but couldn't so tried again at 12 weeks and I found it twice. But only for a couple a seconds each time. Bubs busy moving around! I really recommend getting a Doppler if you are very nervous about your pregnancy but I wouldn't try to use it too early. How many weeks are you?
Hi I would defo recommend getting a Doppler. I decided to buy mine rather than rent as I knew I'd use it my whole pregnancy. And now I get to use it again. I had 4 miscarriages before having my daughter and I worried the whole time. When you feel movement it's not a constant thing so if I didn't feel movement for say 1/2 a day I'd use my Doppler. Good luck x
I am 7 weeks, 1 day. Heard the heartbeat last week and look forward to hearing it again Thursday when I go in for my third ultrasound.
I am so happy for you and your little bean. Congrats on the heartbeat.
I struggled through fertility treatments and in vitro for a year and a half before finally getting pregnant in October 2008. I lost our baby boy, Jonathnan, at 22 weeks to a rare genetic deformity. We got pregnant again via in vitro in May 2009 but I miscarried at 6 and half weeks. After a surgery in August 2009, I was able to get pregnant again via in vitro in October 2009 and am newly pregnant!
Have been undergoing fertility treatments and in vitro for two and a half years.
I have had one late term loss at 22 weeks and one miscarriage two months later. Looking for a story of loss/miscarriage followed by a healthy baby born.
We are going to start looking into adoption.
