  Thank you. The last two days have been a roller coaster. I can't begin to tell you how your words bring some comfort. Isn't it amazing that people who don't know each other from adam can make each other feel better. Thank you for that!

  Good Morning! What treatment is your mom taking? My husband started Sutent a little over a week ago, and is doing well so far.
  Are you the caretaker for your mom? Please take care of yourself!!! I'm here if you need a friend.

  I for one wanted to know everything but like Dave said, you know your mother and how she will react. When my wife and daughters told me the rcc metastisized to my lymph nodes and lungs, the 1st thing out of my mouth was "I would like a hot fudge sundae". I was 1st diagnosed with rcc 5 years ago and am still waking up in the morning. A good thing.
  If you can, go with her to the oncologist and be her advocate.
