The fireworks knocked off at ten, but I woke at four with a house full of smoke. Had to shut the windows and turn on my air cleaner. I wish you the best with the doctor. Real doctors are getting scarcer and scarcer. Sometimes I think they throw out all their books when they get done with med school and rely instead on Byguess and Bygosh. Is your appointment with Dr. Watenour?

I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. I pray you get a good understanding doctor. You are special and deserve the best. Let me know how it goes for you. GB, Rick

Thanks. Good luck getting ready for you GP appointment and I sure hope you get a good doctor. If you don't have luck with a GP, try an Internal Medicine doctor.

  • Well Done

    Dheal (07/05/09)

Hi Again ~ just read your journal entries for the first time and can feel those 'rocks' in your moccasins, girl! I've been ill with CFS for so many years, hunting, searching, digging, experimenting ... praying ~ and can say with confidence that the research you're doing and the pro-active way you are approaching it will be the best things you can do. There is so much information available now that wasn't easily accessible years ago (which is one of the most frustrating aspects of it: finding a doctor who is either up-to-speed, or has enough interest and dedication to access the information that's out there in order to help a patient. If we can find it, why can't, or won't, our physicians?).

Also, after months of an infection flare-up recently, a friend mentioned she gets far better relief from using Lysine for her shingles outbreaks than from any of the prescriptions she's tried. That little "oh, I forgot about that!" bell rang, and after a few days taking a Lysine-Immune System formula I had wonderful relief (Super Lysine Plus by Quantum Health).

Did you know that pesticides will cause the Epstein Barr virus to mutate, causing flare-ups and additional symptoms?

Hope you feel better tomorrow, and that your new doc is going to help you. Take care :-)

Sorry you were not feeling well yesterday. The loud noises from the fireworks in my neighborhood got me all jumpy, but at least it did not continue past midnight in any great amount. Sometimes we just have to take things as they are, and roll with the punches. My two girls stayed in the house all night, which is fine with me. Sprout showed up around dawn, roaring hungry.

    Happy 4th to you D,

I was unable to go to preach yesterday and probably wont tonight because of the 4th. The guy that was going to take me couldn't make it he said so I went with my mother to a family party yesterday. It was really ruff on me ridding that long in the car. There was a lot of traffic and it took almost 1&1/2 hours to get there. I sat most the time and just talked but it was good to see some of the family I haven't seen in months. I will try and make it out next week Lord willing to preach if the guy will take me. Take Care, Rick
