I an a "street Chaplain, " just turned 64, a breast cancer survivor, write two spiritual columns, 1 for ChristianOnlineMagazine.org and one for a local newspaper under the pen name of Leigh Moran. I was shocked by my diagnosis. I have a lot of faith, but I am seeking support, frankly, I need it now. I just need to stay in touch with others in my shoes, so to speak. God bless, Altalee

Get Well Soon!
Hi Altalee, I don't know what it is because you're right... not many write. I joined the Diet and Weight Maintenance Group also and seem to get more feedback there. I have wondered if it is just the severity of what we are dealing with... I'm not really sure. Sometimes I just think it is me and people don't like me in our group. I don't know. But it is probably just that heart failure is pretty heavy and debilitating. Thanks for your friendship.

Close Heart Failure
I was just diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, caused by a virus, the doc said. Did not know I had anything wrong with me until in April I had two "near" fainting spells and a bigger "near fainting" spell in May. Went to the doc the next day and then to a cardiologist.Had a heart cath (piece of cake) no blockage. Am on coreg, have no symptoms. This came as a shock! God Bless, Chaplain Altalee

- Carvedilol Working / Worked
- having a bit of trouble adjusting doasage, only been on it 2 weeks, also on cumadin.
- Diovan HCT Working / Worked
- Been on that for years.
