Close Colon Cancer
Stage: IV (Any T, Any N, M1)I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer on April 30 and I am scared out of my mind. :( I am here seeking support from anyone in a similar situation!
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- First round went okay, just had second round last week and it left me lifeless. Extreme fatigue, nausea and weight loss.
- Oxaliplatin Too Soon to Tell
- I only had 2 rounds so far, first time did okay. Second time I was tired and nauseous with no appetite for about 3 days after.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Xeloda Too Soon to Tell
- Had less adverse reaction to this than the chemo.. I am on the second round with this as well and besides from dry hands, mouth and feet I now have a skin reash.
