Hang in there , it gets better with time, dont expect to be over this soon. some heal quicker than others. We are all in the same situation or have been there and understand what you are going thru. Walking will help you get your strength back sooner, my Dr wouldnt let me because of residual clots in my leg, I am going to start this month back to a mile twice a day if the clots have gone away. Rest and let your body heal. You went thru a terrible trauma to your body and it will heal, just a matter of time.

Close Pulmonary Embolism
Diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism after foot surgery.
Treatments
- Heparin Working / Worked
- In the hospital 5 days. On Heparin don't recall having difficulty breathing. Now on Coumadin and I have some trouble breathing. Doctor said my lungs are clear and my oxygen is at 99 though.
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- I guess its working. Still having some difficulty breathing.
