Hello, I never thought that I would join a forum as this one. My wife suffers from severe depression and it is destroying me and my marriage. I am a police officer and I am used to handling just about any problem that comes my way (some have been extremely stressful), but no situation has been as stressful to me as this one with her depression. This one is really hairy because I have no control over it! Anyway, I wanted to know what people do to live with someone who suffers from depression.

HEY LOUIE...AS A PERSON THAT SUFFERS FROM DEPRESSION I CAN TELL YA IT IS A HORRIBLE THING TO EXPERIENCE SO KIND OF TAKE IT EASY ON HER, BE MORE SENSITIVE AND MORE UNDERSTANDING...AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL PRAY FOR HER TRUST ME ALL THIS THAT I AM TELLING YOU MY HUSBAND DID FOR ME.....HE HAD A HARD TIME DEALING WITH MY DEPRESSION UNTIL HE BECAME EDUCATED ABOUT IT(INTERNET, READING) SO MY PRAYER IS THAT YOUR WIFE GETS TO THE ROOT OF HER DEPRESSION FIND OUT WHY SHE IS DEPRESSED AND BECOME HEALED....MY PRAYER FOR YOU IS THAT YOU BECOME STRONG IN THE LORD AND REMAIN IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT...ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT GOD WON'T PUT NO MORE ON YOU THAN YOU CAN BARE....GOD BLESS MY FRIEND!!!
