About Me
I have a son That is a year old that i was told that i would never have because of health problems, but he is my blessing. I like to read a lot. I was diagnosed with Crohns disease and Ulcerative Colitis about 2 years ago, but i suffered for 9 months before they could figure out what it was. I am finally at the point where i need to know people that understand.

Close Anxiety
I have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for about 4 years now. They have taken my life from me and everything that i am.
Treatments
- Ativan Somewhat Helpful
- It was okay. But after i used it for about a week i started getting bad headaches so i stopped.
- Breathing Exercises Somewhat Helpful
- They only work when i am in a place i am comfortable in. If i am in a store or something it does not work.
- Lexapro Not Working
- I freaked out on this stuff. I felt worse physicaly and mentally than i ever have.
- Paxil Considering
- My doc. wants me to try this but i have had some bad reactions to antidepressants so i amnot so sure i want to.
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- I try to stay positive but it gets tough sometimes.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- I have been using as needed for 4 years now and it is a miracle drug for me.
Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I was diagnosed with corhns and uc about 3 years ago. I have had so many problems and it just seems that people who don't have these issues don't understand how it feels.
Treatments
- Asacol Somewhat Helpful
- I have been using this since i was diagnosed. Sometimes i get headaches from it. It seems to work okay but doesn't help totally.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- If the food bothers me i try to stay away from it. sometimes it helps.
- Azathioprine Considering
- My doc. has suggested this to me but i am very sensitive to meds. that i am scared of side effects.
- Entocort Not Working
- I have tried this, it didn't really have that bad of side effects it just didn't work.
- Flagyl Working / Worked
- This stuff works for flares but god it makes you so sick and dizzy.
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- I took it for about a 4 month span. It was okay but i hated the side effects. I couldn't sleep, my teeth hurt, and my face got REALLY round. I still have these wierd pains in the sides of my head that come and go which i started getting while i was on this.
- Remicade Considering
- my doc. has also mentioned this one. Not so sure i want to try it.
- Surgery Not Working
- I have had these perianal abcesses that started in about sept. 08 and my doctors didn't believe there was something wrong and did no tests (like a ct) to find out, tuns out there was somthing way wrong. I have had 4 surgeries simce nov. 08 and need a 5th. I can't say it's working so far.
