Close Parenting Preschoolers (3-5)
I have a four year old daughter. She has a very strong character and many times a day it is like a power struggle between us. I just thought this would be a place to vent, get some advice, and give a little advice that has worked for me.
Treatments
- 1-2-3 Magic Working / Worked
- Has worked in the past, lately not effective.
- Child Time-out Working / Worked
- Yes! She hates to be in time out.
- Education (School) Not Working
- No. I think the school was too structured. It wasn't the pre-k that I remembered or thought it would be. Way too structured!
- Play Therapy Too Soon to Tell
- Just started. She loves it. She asks to go everyday. Its only been two times, so I don't have a lot of experience to judge.
- Positive Reinforcement Working / Worked
- Yes. Snowballs, chuck e. Chees, pick out the treat box, and cupcakes so far.
