About Me
I am a 23 year old mom of 2 and one on the way. My three year old son has autism he is amazing. not saying it isnt a challenge but i wouldnt change it for the world! my 16 month old has neurofibramitosis (nf) von recklinghausen disease, and i have hydrocephalus. we all face a new obsticle everyday but we take it one day at a time and rely on god to get us through even the roughest of times. we were put together for a reason!

Close Autism / Autism Spectrum
my 3 year old son was diagnosed with autism. he has taught me so much about life myself and this disorder. I love him more than life and thank god everyday for him!
Treatments
- ABA Working / Worked
- we are still working with a behavior specialist. and i see improvement everyday
- Early Intervention Working / Worked
- he now uses some sign language to communicate
- Independent Living Skills Working / Worked
- he is really working with this at school and we also work on it in the bath he is now washing his own hair
- Occupational Therapy Working / Worked
- skyler can now climb up ladders and can feed himself with some guildence
- Patience Working / Worked
- i have to have patience to deal with some of his behaviors such as eating his poop and banging his head and his meltdowns
- Pets Working / Worked
- he loves dogs
- Picture / Word Schedules Too Soon to Tell
- we just implamented a schedual last week i am hoping this will help with self feeding and potty training
- Play Therapy Working / Worked
- we play freely for 2 hrs everyday he loves this time with me and his sister
- Sign Language Working / Worked
- he still struggles with this but we have been successful with the sign for more drink and eat
